SONG OF LOVE showed a bit of promise last season but was unfancied on his reappearance here last week. He belied his odds with a fine effort behind the odds-on Arif, staying on well in the closing stages. That was over a mile so the drop in trip is a cause for concern, especially as he's stoutly bred, but this is a moderate contest. Stablemate Best Kept Secret was a long way behind last week and unlikely to do much better but A Few Dollars More has twice run well over the minimum trip and his pedigree suggests he should be well suited by tonight's extra furlong. Five Claw showed very good pace for a long way over 7f at the Curragh in October while Ripped has been staying on at the finish, though over further.
