Footprint's second at the Curragh 11 days ago was a decent effort and he's only a pound higher here. But his record on an artificial surface is dismal and he's not well drawn. The Grey Rebel is back at the scene of his greatest triumph but may be in the handicapper's grip now while Prince Jock, a winner three times this season, also looks high enough in the weights. Winning Impact still has some scope and could be thereabouts if handling the step up in trip. But a chance is taken on SHARP STEEL who isn't badly treated, knows his way around here and is entitled to improve significantly for his run at the track two weeks ago, his first since June.
