In depth

Verdict

Not the best of races and the market may tell us more but SAGA EIGER has the best form in the book and has to be the selection. He didn't show much in his first two starts on Turf but did much better over this course and distance in December when a close third to Lily Of Kenmare and a repeat should be good enough. To Choose was around five lengths behind in that latter event but has since improved to finish runner-up to La Belle Maison so he looks a threat along with the jumper Ordinary Man, who has had something of a chequered career but has enough ability to make his presence felt. Knight Of Bangkok has never raced at a trip below 1m3f but has a few pieces of reasonable form to his credit and generally shows good pace before fading.
