In depth

Verdict

It's difficult to rule anything out of this including Arganil, who has eight all-weather victories to his credit though is much better handicapped on turf. Zabarajad looked a superb prospect after two juvenile runs but he hasn't fulfilled that potential despite scoring at Gowran in July. Duff is always worthy of consideration though he didn't appear to be quite at his best behind Angel's Pursuit a couple of weeks ago. Elusive Ridge had been racing over much further before dropping down to 7f here last week where he stayed on strongly to beat the consistent but luckless Tarrsille and Taufan Express. The latter pair had also been close up behind Tell The Wind and Iron Major over that trip a week earlier and there is very little between any of them. SUNSET BEAUTY dead-heated with Flic Flac over 7f here in October and ran well enough in a Listed race over this C&D subsequently to get the vote in a wide-open contest.
