Verdict

Al Mancilia has won twice over a mile, both times leading at around tonight's shorter trip, and still looks well treated despite a big weight. Like Magic has been racing over shorter and staying on so this trip looks his best though he's never won in seven starts on the surface. WHATYOUMAYCALLIT hadn't shown much before a better display over 6f here last week where he stayed on very strongly. With an extra furlong to travel and Leigh Roche using his claim he looks the one to be on. Cookie Crumbles has been in good form on Turf but the fact is she's now had 20 career starts without winning despite dropping to a very lowly mark.
