In depth

Verdict

It's very unusual to find Aidan O'Brien with an entry in such a poor-grade handicap so the presence of GREAT RULER is interesting. He's a superbly-bred half-brother to the 1000 Guineas winner Virginia Waters and though he hasn't shown much to date there's likely to be some improvement in him and he makes his handicap debut from a very lowly position. Saratoga Baby was well supported at Fairyhouse last time but disappointed and not for the first time while Man In Black's latest run came in a claimer. Golan Heights has a Polytrack victory to his credit and produced his best run for a very long time behind Go On Murt here last week so he's probably the main threat as he can run from the same mark.
