    In depth

    Verdict

HIGH NET WORTH had been threatening to win a race for some time and finally came good over a slightly shorter trip last week where he was always travelling smoothly and won with a bit in hand. He makes his handicap debut under a promising claimer here and is given the nod. Johann Bach won a maiden around this time a year ago and though unsuccessful subsequently he's been dropped a few pounds and looked on the way back last week. Sabaidee was sent to Germany for a Listed contest last month but was well beaten and she looked a very strong staying type when completing a double on fast ground in July so may find this on the short side. Shu Lewis didn't have much chance in the St Leger Trial at the Curragh but his earlier form, all on Turf, suggests he could be up to this despite a big weight.
