Verdict

Merry Mast was conceding 6lb to Gold Falcon when narrowly beaten over a mile last week when Elusive Gent, Lily's Prince and Atlas Peak were behind. The latter trio were in front of him a month earlier when Stoichkhov came out on top so it's very difficult to separate them. Captains Dilemma was beaten a neck by Stoichkhov earlier and there's nothing between them at the revised weights but the maiden Calling You was beaten in a poor Wolverhampton claimer last time. With so many confusing form lines it may be worth taking a chance on CAPPADOCIA, who has performed with credit in his two starts here following a break yet has been lowered 3lb to his lowest-ever handicap mark and Conor Hoban's claim is a bonus.
