In depth

Verdict

RUMMAGING was in cracking form around here at this time a year ago and though a short-priced beaten favourite here a couple of weeks ago he found 6f just on the short side and can regain losses over tonight's trip. Toccata Blue has been in very good form all year and is a credit to connections. He scored here in January and two further successes emphasise his consistency so it will be a surprise if he's not in the mix. Queen Of The Sand has to be a major threat as she landed a very tough fillies' handicap here last month and is surprisingly only 3lb higher. Knights Templar has been in good form on fast ground during the summer and arrives here on a 7lb lower mark than on Turf so is another to consider.
