Verdict

Since completing a double last summer, Whatever It Takes has been in good form over hurdles and looks better than a 66-rated performer. He should get involved while Redera is gradually dropping to a mark he can win from and has a victory over the C&D to his credit. FOOT SOLDIER was having only his second start on the surface when a very good third under Joe Doyle here last week when Fairylike was around 2l behind. Charlie Swan's charge is looking reasonably treated and this can prove within his capabilities. Silverlord was in very good form at the beginning of the year but ran poorly over hurdles in early summer and returns from a break while Templeton, though showing potential, is still a maiden and is making his debut on the surface. Parramatta won over 7f on the sand at Laytown and didn't get the best of runs over 1m4f here a fortnight ago.
