In depth

Verdict

Dandy Boy is well treated by the race conditions and has scored on the track. His only start over 6f in 2009 resulted in a victory but most of his latest runs have been over a mile including when last seen at Meydan in February. That lack of a run could just hand the initiative to DUFF, another very well in under the race conditions and who still has the pace for this judged on his narrow defeat in a Listed contest at Fairyhouse in July. Six Of Hearts won a very tough handicap at the Curragh in July and has to be a threat along with last year's Group 3 winner Snaefell, who has a big pull with Cecil Ross' charge on that Curragh effort though this will be his first start on Polytrack as he reaches his half-century of runs. The Reaper has speed to burn and must be a major threat as he likes the track.
