Verdict

D's Trix won a handicap over fences at Tramore before reverting to hurdles on what looked a lowly mark at Killarney on Friday but he ran poorly. He had run very well over this C&D previously so must be a threat if back to his best. BANELLIE ran very well in a similar event here last month in-between two fair efforts at Perth. He should be winning soon and this looks a good opportunity. The lightly-raced Ahead Ahead is improving though he looks a few pounds high in the weights but Sir Ejay ran very well in the race that D's Trix finished runner-up here three weeks ago and as that was his first start for two years he looks the biggest threat to the selection.
