Verdict

After numerous near misses, Heavenly Brook finally doubled his tally over fences at Clonmel though he's never faced an extreme test of stamina. Bose Ikard completed a hat-trick in August though two of those victories were over hurdles. He looked as though he'd had enough when well beaten in the Troytown Handicap at Navan in November and has had a nice break. JUPITOR has no problems with the trip as he showed when a very good third at Punchestown last month when he had More Madness just behind. David Mullins is tremendous value for his claim and he can steer Paul Nolan's charge to another victory. Betterthanalright is still 9lb higher than his only success over fences and was beaten a long way at Thurles last time. Keep On Track did very well to score over two miles at Down Royal last month as he's much more effective on cross-country circuits.
