Verdict

The veteran PRESWELL LAD continues to defy the years and is in the form of his life. He completed a double over fences in the spring, including on this track, then finished runner-up on his hat-trick bid before reverting to hurdles and gaining an easy victory over a slightly shorter trip here. He's still 9lb lower than over fences so another success looks on the cards. Ni Sin E Mo Ainm will need to step up on his 14l defeat at Wexford to get involved but another veteran, Duroob, is a different matter. He has also been in action over fences on the track and gone well so it would be no great shock to see him return to winning ways. This appears the right distance and ground for Lucky Pigeon though he followed a good run at Down Royal with a poor effort at Cork.
