Verdict

FAIRVIEW STAR made a very promising start to his career on fast ground at Kilbeggan before a disappointing effort on much slower going at Roscommon. Providing conditions remain fast he may have too much basic speed for Uncle Jacko, who had no answer when Mister Music Man went past him over this C&D in May. Golden Desert, who is related to numerous winners in Germany, is a very interesting newcomer and could even be good enough so the market should be watched.
