In depth

Verdict

There's no doubt that Maggie Connolly has become disappointing on her last two starts in handicaps and she'll need to recapture her best form if she's to add to her lone success over timber. BENEFIT OF PORTER really needs fast ground to show her best and wouldn't want any more rain but her overall form entitles her to the verdict here and her regular rider can claim the amateurs' allowance. Gudnis Gracious Me is versatile and ran very well over the C&D in March before a poor effort at Limerick. She may do better when reverting to fences while Back In A Tic would prefer more testing conditions.
