Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer DRAYCOTT PLACE has been running way out of his class over hurdles including at Punchestown last week but his third place behind Giantofaman in a Thurles Grade 2 in February would be good enough for this. Oscar Vespasian is consistent enough but looks as though he needs further while Slim Pickens was well beaten on his racecourse debut over hurdles though showed a bit more in a bumper last time. Solidago has run quite well in handicaps on his two latest starts and could provide the main threat though Mexican Border ran well enough at Wexford to be considered for a place.
