Verdict

This really should be named after PATRICKSWELL, who is attempting to win it for the fourth year in succession. Marcus Callaghan's veteran hasn't scored since a year ago which is why he can run from a 7lb lower mark but showed at Navan last week that he's been tuned for another victory in the event, though Sassaway looks a big danger. She hadn't won a race in 37 starts before scoring over this trip on soft ground at Tipperary then followed up over 7f on this track. More rain would aid her cause and she holds Sujet Bellagio on that Tipperary run. Judies Child and Elastomer are closely matched on their 1-2 here last month with the latter possibly having the scope to reverse the places.
