Verdict

Winning hurdler Notable Graduate looks the type to be suited by this marathon as he wasn't stopping over 2m at Dundalk last time. Point The Toes is another who has no problems with stamina as he showed when scoring easily over 2m1f at Carlisle, the same distance as Massini's Trap won over at Killarney in July. Carpet Elegance scored over slightly shorter here in May and will enjoy the fast conditions better than most but this could produce another battle between Magnetic Force and LITTLE STAMPY, who finished 1-2 at Wexford last month. The former came out on top on that occasion but the runner-up was closing fast over the 2m trip and though slightly out of the handicap Tom Madden's claim is a massive bonus and the combination can prove too strong for these.
