Verdict

HONEST JOHN jumped for fun when making all at Huntingdon. He's won off higher marks than this over hurdles and could take some catching if allowed to dictate matters again here. Qualviro is tried in a visor after another second at Ffos Las but Chac Du Cadran probably needs to improve on his two runs to date over fences if he's to break his duck and the jury is out on Knockando at present. There should be more to come from Bangor fourth Weston Lodge, however, as he's already won over hurdles and between the flags while Crafti Bookie made a promising start over the larger obstacles when fourth at Newcastle and makes more appeal than Musselburgh fifth D'Gigi.
