Verdict

ALFRED HUTCHINSON left it late to get into top gear at York last time but got his head in front on the line. There should be more to come from him and he can follow-up. Lockantanks' hoodoo on this surface continued at Carlisle last Wednesday and the multiple all-weather winner is still looking for his first success on Turf while Silverware will be hoping the rain stays away after his fast ground win at Ayr last month. Fastnet Storm gets first-time blinkers despite scoring on his latest start and Rustic Deacon has claims off his current mark. Recent winners Steel Stockholder and Eastward Ho are both raised in class and Daruband was engaged to run at Newmarket yesterday.
