Verdict

Unsurprisingly, JOHNNY CAVAGIN has been raised 10lb for his four length victory over C&D last month. An apprentice's claim negates a large chunk of that, however, and Richard Guest's charge can make it three in a row in his current form. Discression has every chance on his latest second at Ayr and Decision By One is capable of going close but can't seem to put two good runs together. Wahylah can figure dropping back down a couple of grades while Pearl Nation and Planetex both have scope for improvement on their handicap debuts.
