Verdict

Zain Eagle was impressive when winning on similar going over course and distance last month but refused to settle when favourite at Chester next time and was the first beaten. Groundbreaking is another course and distance winner who pulled too hard on his latest start. He shouldn't be written off just yet but Stepping Ahead and Matrooh look to be in the handicapper's grip and Cruck Realta finished behind AJMAN BRIDGE at Newmarket earlier this month. Luca Cumani's colt lost his unbeaten record that day but was far from disgraced and, only a pound higher here, could be worth another chance though Squire Osbaldeston could be dangerous after getting off the mark at Lingfield.
