    Verdict

A really tricky start to proceedings. STARLETINA, Maybelater, Zamoura and Light And Shade were all maiden winners on the all-weather last time. The first-named was probably the most impressive so gets a tentative vote but none of the form has really been franked and all are unknown quantities racing on Turf. Wolverhampton second Miss Minuty was well beaten on her only previous start on Turf, as was Todegica, while Juventas has shown little since scoring at Newmarket last May. Fidelma Moon was tailed off on her reappearance but Elle Dorado was second on her reappearance at Redcar and likes fast ground.
