There won't be a dry eye at Doncaster if Nanton can deliver the goods in the finale and Jim Goldie's veteran showed he retains a modicum of ability when finishing fourth in a handicap over 1m4f earlier this month. Mr Snoozy takes a drop in grade having taken on some of the leading stayers in the North, but with the drying ground against him, we will oppose him with SNOWY DAWN. Andrew Hollinshead's grey literally sprang into form at this stage of the season last year, and though he raced a little too exuberantly for his own good at Ascot, he showed enough to suggest that he is coming to hand. Hurry Home Poppa attempts to follow up a recent success at Nottingham off a 2lb higher mark while Bradbury makes a first start for Eric Alston and the former Donald McCain inmate is worthy of a market check following a very long absence.
