In depth

Verdict

Muy Bien has been a model of consistency and should go close in the finale, with Morse and Kali also in with a shout. Muy Bien scored in softish ground at Windsor in April and since then has been placed twice in similar conditions. He looked the likely winner when sent on at Ascot last time but faded to third, and as this is a weaker affair, he should make a bold bid to make amends over a trip that he has raced over only once before. Morse was beaten a neck on the new Polytrack at Wolverhampton last time and although a bit in and out, comes from a stable in fair form. Kali was a shade unlucky at Lingfield as she had to be pulled out to make her run, in the end finishing fourth to Polar Magic. She never runs a bad race and may make the frame at least. Mrs Moh unshipped her rider at York but other than that has been banker place material through the summer so has to be respected as well. Vince Smith has his team in good order so Ask The Clerk merits a mention also, but for the winner we like the look of Muy Bien.
