The wonderfully-bred DEVASTATION can go one better than when second to Istishaara on debut. Nothing that finished in the first seven has run since but the feeling is that the form will be solid and this daughter of Attraction is bred to be special. Encore Une Annee was a 20/1 chance on debut at Newbury but she caught the eye and should relish this extra furlong, whilst similar comments apply to the Khalid Abdulla-trained Complextion. This half-sister to Zacinto was not bashed about by Ryan Moore on debut and is another potential superstar in the making. Armoise is likely to improve as a three-year-old but is not discounted on debut, but more likely newcomers appear in the form of Supreme Seductress, Mantatisi and Izzi Top. Elsewhere Jeu De Vivre is respected, with Kieren Fallon coming in for the ride on Mark Johnston's daughter of Montjeu.
