In depth

Verdict

Progressive chaser SHADOWS LENGTHEN (NAP) landed a Listed handicap at Wetherby last month. He's up 8lb for that but won by seven lengths eased down and may not have finished winning yet. Uriah Heep made a winning start over fences at Ludlow and there should be more to come from him but Violets Boy won a lesser event at Kempton last time and this is tougher. Hexham winner Wakanda failed to cope with a 7lb rise when well beaten at Aintree but the returning pair Baile Anrai and Di Kaprio, along with recent Musselburgh runner-up Robbie, are all worthy of consideration.
