Verdict

Richard Fahey has won both renewals of this race so MANDY'S HERO is an obvious starting point although Oneladyowner, Crown Ridge and Go Maggie Go also make some appeal on paper, The Fahey juveniles have been in fine form this season and the strike rate for the yard's youngsters is better than one in four so it's reasonable to expect Mandy's Hero to be tuned up on debut and he makes some appeal on paper as a relative of juvenile winners. Oneladyowner and Crown Ridge are of interest as half-brothers to Jimmy Styles and Tournedos respectively and both are with yards that are capable of saddling winning newcomers. Sky Booster hails from a shrewd yard with a fair record at the track but he's the first foal of a modest dam and may be best watched on debut unless the market suggests to the contrary. Go Maggie Go is also related to a number of juvenile winners and Jamie Spencer has proved profitable to follow when riding for the yard but we'll elect Mandy's Hero.
