Verdict

Elusive Flame won the fillies' nursery at this meeting last year and has been in decent form again lately, winning at Newmarket last month. Sohraab has place claims again but is still 4lb higher than his last winning mark, though 4lb better off with Prodigality than when just behind the top weight at Ffos Las last time. Seeking Magic has every chance on his latest third at Goodwood but is closely matched with Mappin Time on their run together at Haydock in the spring while last month's Newmarket winner Medici Time never seems to run two races alike, though has won off this mark in the past. GOLDREAM is untried at this level and was raised 4lb after winning at Newmarket but he's yet to run a bad race over this trip and Richard Hughes' presence in the saddle is a definite plus. He'll almost certainly give backers a run for their money, though Roker Park is undoubtedly well treated at present and it would be no surprise to see him in the firing-line as well.
