    Verdict

KHOTAN is by Hernando so should have no problem with the step up in trip. Brought along quietly last year, it would be no surprise if he ran up a sequence in this grade this year and is expected to defy top weight on his reappearance. The danger may be Handiwork, who only found one too good at Lingfield and Kempton last month. Akdam won at Wolverhampton before finishing a close-up fourth at Windsor and shouldn't be far away but Jawinski disappointed when favourite at Bath and Darakti would need to improve for the fitting of a visor as he's only won a Fibresand seller so far.
