In depth

Verdict

Zacynthus has the ground in his favour and made a promising reappearance behind Dubai Dynamo at Thirsk. He has to go on the short-list for this along with recent Yarmouth third King Of Jazz, who looks to be coming to hand. Shesastar can never be ignored here while Sam Nombulist is also a course and distance winner, though prefers softer ground and might need this. Alejandro is starting to look well treated but this may be too tough for Al's Memory and old Docofthebay. ESCAPE TO GLORY should be ready to strike now after a couple of runs. He stayed on late over 6f here earlier in the month so the extra furlong looks ideal and he's only a pound higher than for his last win.
