Verdict

Charlie Hills trained the winner of this 12 months ago and has two entered this year. Frankie rides Captain Bob, who has been placed in three of his four runs and started favourite the last twice only to find one too good, but we prefer JAZZ. William Buick's mount was noted staying on strongly over 6f at York last time and has an almost identical profile to last year's winner. Richard Hannon is also doubly represented with Goodwood third Djinni preferred to the more exposed Fair Ranger. Finn Class rarely runs a bad race but has a penalty to overcome and Newcastle second Braidley is just as interesting. Street Force and Emaad look best of the rest.
