Verdict

Secret Hint showed promise at Kempton in October and should figure here if translating that form to Turf. But we'll give another chance to KOMMANDER KIRKUP, who is tried in blinkers and might just have needed the run when a hot favourite here in May. It's a bit of a surprise to see Marmoom dropping down a furlong as he was doing his best work at the finish over 7f here in March. Smart Dj showed early speed here last month while Ecliptic Sunrise was third at Yarmouth but looks a little one-paced. John Caesar is related to winners on the Flat and over jumps and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a winning debut.
