Verdict

Both Richard Hannon and Richard Fahey are double-handed in this maiden. Aguerooo, fourth on debut on the Turf at Lingfield, is probably the pick of the former's pair while jockey bookings would suggest the Ifraaj colt Ribchester is the latter's best hope, though Penwortham runs in the same colours. MELABI could foil the quartet, however, as he was slowly away when fourth at Newmarket and wasn't unduly punished in the closing stages. Hope Cove is another likely to improve from his first run and is preferred to debutant Dream Mover.
