In depth

Verdict

Granville Island and Montoya's Son have been knocking on the door again lately while Tahiti Pearl arrives in good form. He looked a lucky winner at Sedgefield on Boxing Day, however, and may struggle off his new mark and in better company. That's The Deal needs better ground while Triangular has been disappointing this season but What A Warrior has his sights lowered and The Chazer would have a chance on his best form, though is arguably better over 2m. WINGS OF SMOKE won at Newbury in November before finishing third at Sandown. Unsurprisingly, he couldn't live with Simonsig at Kempton over Christmas but this offers a good opportunity for him to get back to winning ways.
