Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Peruvian Prince can make up for his narrow York defeat last time out and he can get the better of Celticello and Magic Echo. The selection hails from a yard in good form and he ran a blinder when just getting beaten in a competitive handicap at York last Friday. He didn't do a lot wrong in that race and if he can reproduce the form here then he should be tough to beat. Celticello arrives here in decent form but he does have a 6lbs penalty to shoulder for his most recent success and that may just find him out. Magic Echo was a little disappointing in a fillies' handicap at Southwell last time, but she did run well here back in April and she will go on the ground. Ahlawy is from a shrewd yard and is worth a look in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Peruvian Prince.
