In depth

Verdict

Cactus Curtsey is one to keep an eye on in the betting however GLOBAL CONQUEST can get off the mark at the third time of asking and is taken to see off Sakhee's Pearl and Kyleene. Pat Eddery has a good record when sending his horses north of Nottingham and this daughter of Captain Rio comes here on the back of two good Salisbury runs. On her latest start she just got going a bit too late and with this more galloping track sure to suit she can get off the mark. Highland Starlight seemed to improve from first to second outings, a similar comment applies to Rock Art who is bred to get further in time, whilst Sakhee's Pearl was a big price on her debut at Newbury but may only run if there is some rain one has to assume. Kyleene, a daughter of Kyllachy, is a potential improver from two to three and is one to watch closely in the betting, but in an open race it is Global Conquest who is preferred.
