    Verdict

Trip and ground suit Man Of Plenty but he's 7lb higher than when winning at Musselburgh in September. Perennial ended a long losing run in plating company last season so Twelve Strings makes more appeal only 1lb higher than when successful at Nottingham. Snowy Dawn and Lion Beacon would prefer a faster surface but it's no problem for Catterick winner Duke Of Yorkshire. It's tempting to regard BUTE HALL as being in the handicapper's grip after making a winning comeback at Wolverhampton. But he's been competing in Class 2 company of late and gets another chance dropping down a couple of grades.
