Verdict

Kieren Fallon scored on Hoof It over 5f here in October with four of today's rivals behind, while Horseradish also beat four of these when he scored over 7f here in November. Both have claims on their return to action as does recent Wolverhampton winner Flipando, but a chance is taken on the latter's stablemate COLONEL MAK. He's 7lb higher than when winning the Ayr Silver Cup in September, but his apprentice negates most of that rise and David Barron's yard has been in terrific form on the all-weather this year. Esprit De Midas makes most appeal of Kevin Ryan's quartet and Tom Queally is an eye-catching booking for Layla's Hero.
