    Verdict

Pentiffic was easily beaten in a novice event at Leicester on Tuesday and Ikorodu Road keeps finding one too good - both will have to carry more than their allotted weight in this. Always Right won this in the Benny Be Good colours last year but the top weight has been in the handicapper's grip for a while and Neptune Equester looks an out-and-out stayer who may find this trip on fast ground an insufficient test. Junior and West End Rocker are both leading fancies for next month's Grand National and may not be fully primed so the selection is promising novice MAC AEDA, who relished the step up in distance at Wetherby last month and may still be on a decent mark despite a 6lb rise.
