In depth

Verdict

The opener can go the way of Pseudonym with both Antonius Caesar and Le Corvee worth noting. The selection has been in good form this season without getting his head in front. His latest effort when second to Eluvaparty was a sound one and with the ground on the fast side being in his favour he is the one horse to stay on the right side of. Antonius Caesar caught the eye when second to Pass it On at Market Rasen. That was his best effort to date and he looks to be improving so is worth noting in the betting the market. Le Corvee ran well enough when third on his chase debut and will no doubt benefit for the experience. He was the winner of three hurdle races earlier on in the season and once again the ground will be in his favour. But for the winner we return to Pseudonym.
