    Verdict

The brilliant KINGMAN's participation is still in doubt at the time of writing with concerns about the weather. But it was genuine soft ground when John Gosden's colt trounced his rivals in the Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh and is hard to oppose if taking his chance. The going is no problem for Olympic Glory and he should be in the firing-line once again having missed out by only a short-head in last year's renewal to the high-class Moonlight Cloud. Coronation Stakes winner Rizeena found one too good on soft ground in the Falmouth last time and may find the older filly Esoterique too good here. Anodin is no back number at his best and could also go well ahead of the German raider Red Dubawi.
