Verdict

Six of the nine entries are trained in the UK and it will be a surprise if one of them doesn't go home with the spoils. Tiddliwinks is heavily penalised after landing a Group 2 at York and a Group 3 here last month. Both were over 6f but he has the pace for this and will be difficult to beat. Definightly has been going well and will love the ground though he was behind ETON RIFLES in France last November. The latter is also engaged at Newcastle today but Stuart Williams' charge, who came off worst in a barging match at Salisbury last time, gets the vote if taking his chance. Judge 'n Jury rarely steps out of handicap company these days but Mirza won a Listed contest on heavy ground at Cork last time when Santo Padre was fourth and deserves her elevation into Group class. Empowering ran a shocker on her reappearance at Leopardstown and was well beaten on her only previous start over the minimum trip.
