Verdict

UK trainers have won all six runnings of this including with Benbaun, who won it three times in succession and Reverence, who was successful last year. Both are engaged again and amazingly are joined by nine others from across the water. Look Busy won this for the younger brigade a couple of years ago and Astrophysical Jet will be fancied for sprinting honours after her superb run behind Borderlescott in the Group 2 King George Stakes at Goodwood. She's on the upgrade and looks certain to go well while the classy Triple Aspect can make his presence felt if running here instead of in Germany where he's also engaged. TAX FREE is a genuine Group sprinter who beat an in-form Benbaun in the Group 3 Sapphire Stakes here last July. David Nicholls looks as though he has prepared him for an autumn campaign with the Abbaye, in which he wasn't beaten far last year, probably the main target but he can take this on the way to Longchamp.
