Verdict

Many of the leading amateurs ride here including Kate Harrington, whose mount Hurricane Ridge has been in tremendous form over fences and has won twice on the Flat. David Mullins is on board the veteran Fosters Cross, who has also won two chases recently though would probably prefer further. NOTABLE GRADUATE is another who may find this on the short side as it was over 2m2f that he won at Down Royal earlier this month but he's won over this trip and with Robbie McNamara ensuring he'll be well ridden he looks the one to be on. The lightly-raced Blackstone has only won over a mile and steps up to this trip for the first time under Sarah O'Brien and though She's No Joke has been a bit disappointing after last November's Dundalk victory this could be the type of race to bring out the best in her and her experienced rider can steer her into a place on the podium.
