Verdict

CAPONATA, beaten a short-head in a Group 2 here last summer, had Aloof well behind in third when outstaying We'll Go Walking over this trip at Leopardstown and this should prove within her capabilities. Sir Henry Cecil sends the Listed winner Chigun from the UK and she was only just touched off by Dank in a Newmarket Group 3 last time. The surprise Epsom Oaks winner Was would win this in that kind of form but she was unable to produce a repeat later and wouldn't want any more rain. La Collina and Lily's Angel are both very useful but will need to step-up on their most recent runs though the latter enters the fray in excellent shape.
