Verdict

Three D Alexander was very disappointing at Leopardstown last week when odds-on following a fine debut there. That can't have been her true form but her stablemate Come To Heel created a very good impression when catching the much more experienced Candy Apples at Cork and, with further progress guaranteed, she has to be on the short-list. Pleasant Bay also represents David Wachman though he'll need to improve from his Dundalk success. Hurryupharriet deserved her victory at Tipperary after some excellent runs including a close third in a Listed contest while Celtic Man found 6f and soft ground beyond him at Naas. It's a real surprise to see EXPEDITION racing over the minimum trip as he took a long time to get going on testing ground over 7f at Limerick. He's obviously regarded as being much better than that as entries in all the top races suggest and he looks another winner for the O'Brien team.
