MASTA PLASTA won this in 2008 and is 3lbs lower this time though he's only won once subsequently in 20 starts. He looked to be approaching his best when a close fifth behind Bertoliver at Epsom and he appears ready to score again. Airspace is improving at a rate of knots and had last year's winner Just For Mary and the consistent Collingwood occupying the places when completing a double here last month. It would be no great shock if either of the latter pair reversed the placings but Flash McGahon, who finished a close fourth, has since been beaten and devalued the form. Captain Carey and Bajan Tryst were 1-2 on polytrack at Lingfield last time and should finish upsides on these terms while the consistent Luisant can never be ruled out and his rider's claim will aid his cause in this ultra-tight handicap.
