Verdict

Lady Lupus won at this meeting a year ago but that was her only success in 11 starts. She's been tried at a much higher level and at a range of distances and Johnny Murtagh overlooks her in favour of the progressive Rain Forest, though the latter isn't certain to be suited by today's ground as it was fast when she impressed at Gowran last time. Address Unknown has only raced on ground with some give once, on her racecourse debut, and she floundered in the mud that day. She's made dramatic improvement but she's untried in these conditions subsequently and may not be suited. ROSES FOR THE LADY is much better on ground with plenty of give as she showed when runner-up to Sariska in last year's Oaks here. All of her runs this season have been on faster going and she is expected to bounce back provided the ground doesn't dry out. She's Our Mark can never be ruled out of these races and she has been in superb form over shorter trips recently.
